The Lawrance family

Our colleagues at Trelissick House (NT) have found the following information in the leaf of a bible which appears to have come from the family:

Edward Lawrance, born April (Old Style) 1736
Married 9th August 1770 to Margaret Bell born 3rd November (OS) 1745

Edward, their son, born 31st December 1771
Elizabeth, their daughter, born 3rd September 1774
George Bell, their son, born 2nd March 1776
Signed by G Allen, Curate of Falmouth

Edward Lawrance departed this life 15th August 1776 at Sea, West Indies [Note: this date does not accord with the information with the diary]

Their son, Edward Lawrance married Margaret Crosby 19th September 1796
A daughter born 25th June 1797 named Margaret Georgina
Another daughter born named Emma 24th February 1800
Another daughter born names Harriet Jane 3rd April 1801

Their daughter Elizabeth Lawrance  married Thomas Murray 12th January 1799
