Crichton, Colonel The Hon. Henry George Louis, A.D.C.

Was born in 1844, and educated at Radley College and Christ­church, Oxford. He served in the 60th Prince of Wales’s Hussars from 1863 to 1874, and the 21st Hussars from 1874 to 1884. From 1884 to 1895 he commanded as Lieu­tenant-Colonel the Hampshire Carbineers Yeomanry. He is an A.D.C. to the King.

He was elected to the Royal Yacht Squadron in 1901, and has taken a practical interest in Solent yachting by becoming Commodore of the Royal Southern and the Castle Yacht Clubs. He is owner of the 90-ton steam yacht Chimera.
